conFIEL CBDC is a proof-of-concept for building a retail-CBDC on top of XRP Ledger for Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) using SAT (Mexican IRS) digital signatures called FIEL (or e.Firma).

• Users register via X.509 PEM,DER certificates and PKCS#8 PEM,DEM/PKCS#5 PEM private keys.
• Accounts are XRP wallets derived by a FIEL RSA signature as a secp256k1-ECDSA seed.
• Infrastructure includes both a web-client and a server using xrpl.js and Next.js APIs.
• Payments are online P2P transfers + offline P2P escrows via on Commercial Bank accounts.
